Why I'm Waiting:

I absolutely love Jeaniene Frost's books and the Night Huntress world in general. Vlad is one of my favorite characters in the series, so I can't wait to see how his story ends, even though reading it will be bittersweet!

This week I'm waiting on The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater.

Why I'm Waiting:

This is one of my absolute favorite series of all time. Stiefvater has created an exhilarating world with realistic and unique characters that you can't help but love. While I hate that this will be the last installment, I really hope that some of what I hope will come to pass actually happens.

Waiting on Wednesday (#8): If I Lie

 

Jill at Breaking the Spine hosts this meme for bloggers to feature books they're so patiently waiting on to be released. 

This contemporary, to be released August 28th, explores emotion and relationships, specifically how the dynamic alters when one person cheats on the other. 

As someone with two military family members, I'm looking forward to it for the military aspect. It also got some pretty great reviews on Goodreads.

Reasons I'm excited:

• She's wearing a purple gown with long skirts. I've always wanted to play dress-up in one.
• Storyline is amazing. I'm currently trying to hold off on watching Jane Eyre so I can wait until my mom and I are together again...my will is slowly deteriorating.
• Time travel...AND the first of a series. Will the second book be about Jane or another time traveler?

How can this not make you squeal? Well I can understand if this isn't your favorite genre and you don't have any particular fondness of Jane Eyre.

But I'm a serious English buff.
